Eating & Drinking at The Alma
Our kitchen will be open from 12 – 8.30pm Sunday to Thursday and 12-9.30pm Friday & Saturday. The menu below is subject to availability and change but we endeavour to have all the Alma favourites on all the time. We also do roasts on a Sunday with some of the best Yorkies in Essex!
It’s not always necessary to book a table but we do get busy, booking is a grand way of avoiding disappointment and is quick and easy.
We appreciate that some people will still want to enjoy a takeaway, if this is you, please choose what you fancy from the menu and call us on 01255318681 or pop in for a pint and take dinner home.

Our menu is below but we also have specials boards, featuring wonderful seafood from the Harwich fishing fleet and other seasonal delights, of course we do a roast on Sundays and have lunch specials too.

How do I book a table?
Booking online is a simple and painless process.
All you’ll need is the date, time, number of people coming, your contact details and flexible friend. You’ll receive an email confirmation and a reminder text on the day of your booking.
We will pre-authorise payment of £10 per person but will only take this money if you don’t turn up and don’t let us know your plans have changed.
